First Lady Freda Phillips BIO

Evangelist Phillips is the daughter of the late Elder Alvin Lee and Mother Mary Francis Lee Blakely. She has three siblings, Alvin Jr., Alton and Anita and they were all raised in the Church of God in Christ. Evangelist Phillips is saved, sanctified and filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost. She is happily married to Pastor Clarence H. Phillips, Ph.D. and is the proud mother of one lovely daughter Adrienne Christine. Evangelist Phillips has worked untiringly in both the secular and church field. She has obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and is presently a candidate for her Masters Degree in Christian Counseling. She is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Indiana; where she is also a certified substitute school teacher. She is currently employed as a Claims Specialist for Resolute Management Midwest Company in Chicago. She has held the position of Assistant Vice President in Risk Management at CNA and was previously a Supervisor for Prudential Insurance Company.

Pastor Clarence Phillips BIO

Pastor Clarence H. Phillips, Pastor Abundant Grace C.O.G.I.C. Pastor Clarence H. Phillips is a native of East Chicago, Indiana. He was raised in a God fearing home by his parents, the late John and Ruby Phillips. His parents instilled in him the importance of working hard, getting an education, having sound morals, values and to love the Lord. In high school he was an exceptional athlete in basketball and baseball. Pastor Phillips continued his education at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management. He continued his graduate studies at Purdue University Northwest and earned a Master of Business Administration Degree. His passion for personal development allowed him to pursue and obtain licensure as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois. In preparation for the calling on his life he attended Midwest Christian College and Seminary in Munster, Indiana. He earned a Master of Arts Degree in Theology and continued his studies to receive a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree in Biblical Studies. Pastor Phillips is the Superintendent of the Spirit of Excellence District and serves as an Executive Board member and Administrative Assistant to Bishop Donald L. Alford in Indiana North Central Jurisdiction.
